In this workshop we will be making a Japanese style stab binding book with a hardcover, using the 4-hole sewing technique. Japanese stab binding is a great method of binding together single pages with your artwork, photography or writing or making beautiful sketchbooks and notebooks.
You will leave the session with your own finished book and a handout with instructions to enable you to work on your own projects.
MATERIALS: We Make Books will prepare all bookmaking materials for this workshop and will post them to each registered participant prior the workshop date. Please provide us with your mailing address so we know where to send the materials kits.* (To make sure these arrive on time, registration will end 7 days before the start date)
