In this hands-on workshop, participants will use zines as a platform to reflect and document ideas, thoughts and experiences in a creative way. The workshop will start with a brief introduction about zines and how they have been historically used as an empowering tool for collaboration, self-expression and DIY making culture. Participants will then be guided on how to make their own zines using collage, printing, drawing and text. All materials and tools will be provided, however, bringing any additional materials you would like to incorporate into your zines is encouraged. Participants will leave the workshop with their own handmade zines and there will be an opportunity for zines to be exchanged either as physical or digital copies
